Memorial Day Celebration and Reflection

Memorial Day Celebration and Reflection

Hi Friends,

Its Memorial Day, and today’s the day we remember those soldiers who have died in service to our country.

Along with our troops who made the ultimate sacrifice, I’m going to focus my prayers and quiet meditation on US Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died protecting our country from an insurrection on January 6, and all the healthcare workers who died this past year while trying to save their fellow Americans from Covid 19.

And I’m going to rededicate the Minocqua Brewing Company and Minocqua Brewing Company Super PAC to make sure that everyone in Northern Wisconsin is reminded of why so many of our healthcare workers died and Brian Sicknick died as a result of the psychological warfare waged on us from Wisconsin’s Trump cult including Ron Johnson and Tom Tiffany, who convinced so many Wisconsinites that Covid wasn’t serious and are now trying to convince us that the insurrection on January 6 never happened.

We hope the billboard above that we’re going to put on HWY 51 North between Wausau and Minocqua, as well as on a major highway near Hudson, will help get that message out.

But friends, it is Memorial Day Weekend, and we would be quite boorish if we focused solely on what was going wrong with Wisconsin instead of celebrating the unofficial beginning of Summer.

We did so in grand fashion at the inaugural “Inoculation Emancipation” party at Clancy’s Stone Lion in Custer, Wisconsin last Saturday.

To our absolute delight, hundreds of vaccinated folks showed up to celebrate the freedom they earned to dance maskless to live music, and to embrace others in their community who also understand that patriotism means caring about your country so much that you’ll do what’s necessary to reach herd immunity and eradicate this ruthless virus from our shores.

And of course the wonderful nurses at Family Health La Clinica vaccinated a number of people in our Shot and a Beer Tent, who were able to dull the minor pain from that “Fauci Ouchie” with a free can of “Bernie Brew.”

We’re going to continue this Inoculation Emancipation party on June 12 at Funk’s Pub in Fitchburg, where we’ll be working with the Dane County Public Health Department to get more folks vaccinated. Go Here to buy tickets:

And sponsor a free beer to the vaccine hesitant by buying our official merch. If you don’t want a t-shirt but want to still sponsor a beer, you can buy an official sticker here that will offset the cost of a couple beers.

Folks, regardless of whether you’re from Northern Wisconsin or not, the work we’re trying to do up here is helping this country. It’s crazy that it is, but until we get rid of the Electoral College which erases so many votes from progressives on the coasts, Wisconsin will remain a pivotal swing state that decides the fate of our nation, which means DEEP RED Northern Wisconsin can’t be forgotten about.

We must honor all of the fallen men and women who we memorialize today by fighting the battle to save democracy at home while they protect our liberty abroad. Donate here to help us do our part.

Thanks again for helping make Wisconsin great again, one beer at a time.

Kirk Bangstad, Owner of the Minocqua Brewing Company and Super PAC
